Welcome !

It has been a while since the last Telemak News. Reasons are multiple, but the main one is: we have been busy. The streaming market in Europe has changed a lot these last 12 months, with positive and less positive news. But the important thing is that the demand for streaming has increased, after 2002 in the public sector, now in 2004 in the private sector as well. Many companies are starting to see the added value of video and audio in their corporate communication strategies.

Christophe LenaertsStreaming today is used for public information, press releases, corporate announcements and shareholder meetings; as well as internal communications such as management briefings and e-learning.

We have added many new services in the past weeks and months, and are continuing to add even more. In the next newsletter we will explain in detail what those are. We are really excited about them, and I'm sure you will be as well.

Jeroen De Backer Jeroen De Backer

Jeroen has joined Telemak in December 2003, as the new Head of Sales & Marketing, and more over he, takes part as shareholder of Telemak SMT.

Before joining Telemak, he was Business Development consultant to Samsonite ICT Europe. Earlier he was Sales Manager to the Corporate Segment and Partnership programs at Belgacom Skynet, n#1 ISP in Belgium.
 

Telenet PCTV

In December 2003 Telenet, one of Belgium's largest ISP's and largest cable company, launched a new concept for the broadband market. PCTV needed to bring good quality content that it brings to the TV as well as to its broadband customers. PCTV was born. Telemak delivered the platform on which it runs.

CarTV, the Belgian Motor Show online

This year was again the year of the Brussels Motor Show. New was the concept of CarTV, developed by eMotion Factory for Febiac. Over 500 000 people have visited the CarTV website. Telemak has provided the consulting and deployment for the streaming, and developed the website.
